Welcome to St Joseph’s Jerilderie where we offer a holistic and nurturing education that encourages our students to thrive and become the best versions of themselves in every area of life.
We warmly welcome students and families from all backgrounds, cultures, and religions. Our goal is to foster independent thinkers and collaborative learners through a comprehensive, well-rounded education.
Customised learning beyond the classroom
We recognize that every child at St Joseph’s is unique, progressing at their own pace. That’s why our approach to classroom learning is personalised, ensuring opportunities for challenge, enrichment, and support across all areas of the curriculum.
Our flexible structure allows us to group students based on ability and skill rather than by age or grade, offering acceleration or additional support as needed. This approach also nurtures social and emotional development, equipping students for life beyond primary school.
At St Joseph’s, learning continues outside the classroom. Every student engages in the arts, science, STEM education, and eco-focused activities. Students particularly enjoy caring for our vegetable garden and learning about the rich Indigenous history of Jerilderie.
A Student-Led Community
We value every child’s voice, encouraging them to contribute to our school community. We teach students to collaborate when problem-solving, work together toward solutions, and evaluate the outcomes of their efforts.
My office is a welcoming space for celebration and communication, where students, parents, and staff can share their thoughts and ideas.
